Creamy Strawberry Banana Ice Cream
A yummy summer treat to enjoy at all of the summer celebrations. It's super smooth and creamy making this Strawberry Banana Ice Cream my favorite treat!
Ingredients
- 5 cups strawberries, hulled
- 2 bananas
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Add strawberries, bananas, and lemon juice to a blender and blend until smooth
- Strain using a mesh strainer and discard seeds.
- Mix in the milk, cream, sugar and vanilla extract in with the strawberry and banana puree.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions. Serve immediately or place in a sealable plastic container and freeze for 4-6 hours.
