Homemade Pasta Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 cloves fresh garlic minced
  • 24 oz tomato puree
  • 6 oz tomato paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano

Instructions
 

  • 1. Mince up 6 cloves fresh garlic and let sit 10 minutes before you saute it in the pan.
  • 2. Heat olive oil in large saute pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic (after 10 minutes!) to pan and stir a couple times a minute at least
  • 3. Add tomato puree, paste, crushed red pepper, salt, pepper, oregano, and fresh basil.
  • 4. Mix ingredients well and let simmer for 20 minutes.
  • 5. Add to your favorite pasta and enjoy this delectable and healthy sauce!
