My Favorite Slow Cooker Chuck Roast

Ingredients
  

  • 1-2-4 pound chuck roast boneless
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup sliced onion wedges
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1-10 3/4 ounce can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1-14.5 ounce can beef broth

Instructions
 

  • Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder to a small bowl and combine. Set aside.
  • Place chuck roast on baking sheet. Sprinkle seasoning on all sides of roast and rub in thoroughly and evenly. Transfer chuck roast to slow cooker.
  • Chop garlic and slice onion and arrange on top of chuck roast. In medium bowl, combine mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth. Pour over chuck roast. It is ok if onion and garlic fall off chuck roast. Flavors will still combine while cooking.
  • Cook on low for 8-10 hours. Then remove from slow cooker and serve.

Notes

May refrigerate and keep for 3-4 days or freeze for 2-3 months.
