Cranberries are a great source of Vitamin C and fiber, containing almost 5 grams of fiber per 1 cup of berries. Cranberries are also known for their ability to prevent and treat bladder infections. Fresh berries have the highest amount of antioxidants but dried berries and cranberry juice still provide benefits. Increase the amount of cranberries in your diet by adding dried cranberries to salads, drinking unsweetened cranberry juice, or adding cranberry sauce on top of grilled chicken.
While I am usually revving up for the turkey and stuffing right now, that’s not the case today. I am all excited about snatching up the leftover turkey for this turkey panini with cranberry sauce. We are off to the parent’s this upcoming weekend and you can be certain I will be bringing along this cranberry sauce to share! I have been eating it for the last three days and am still thankful I have a little cranberry sauce to keep these paninis going!
Oh, and I would also recommend getting some good quality bread for these paninis. I picked out a garlic sourdough bread at the bakery and it was soo good!!
