Quick, fun, and easy s’mores in a skillet made with strawberries, bananas, and blueberries. Festive enough to make for the 4th of July and tasty enough for any day of the year! Red, White, and Blue Skillet S’mores for the Win!!
Have I mentioned I love summer? I love pool days, park days, and even rainy days inside waiting for the sun to come back out. I really love all of the extra days getting together with family. ❤️❤️
These Red, White, and Blue Skillet S’mores will be perfect for your next get-together. No campfire? No problem! I gotcha covered! These are put together so quickly and and I am all about the quick and easy. I also packed in some fresh fruit in these because well, why not? S’more? Yes, puhhhlease!!
Oh, and almond butter lovers —you there? Ahh, oh hey there! You are going to looove these! Almond butter just sneaked its way in to this American favorite and I am not complaining. No no, I am shouting for joy!! I know there are thousands upon thousands of s’more recipes online. Literally, 704, 000 to be precise when you google “s’more recipe.” So, I decided I wanted to be included in that number. 😀 And since they are eaten at so many campfires across America, why not show it with a little red, white, and blue!
These would be a great treat to make just before watching fireworks. The skillet makes about 11 s’mores at once so it would take little time to do dessert and then head outside for fireworks action.
Customize these s’mores to how you would prefer them. No almond butter, then replace with peanut butter or Nutella. Try swapping strawberries for raspberries. Either way you will still have some s’mores that are amazingly delicious and easy to make and you will be asking for s’more. 😉
As I’m thinking about all of the 4th of July extravaganzas that will soon happen, where the heck did June go? How do months go by so fast and yet the few hours I wait to see if my photo gets accepted to Foodgawker can seem like forever! 😳
Hope you guys all have a fantastic week filled with fun summer activities/vacationing and these incredible Red, White, and Blue Skillet S’mores!!
