Hi there friends! Welcome back! All newbies, it is nice to meet you! Who wants a raspberry peach POWER smoothie bowl?! Wow! I am pretty sure if I was asked that question, I would be immediately raising and waving my arm in the air like I was in 2nd grade again. 😉 Ah, the good ‘ol days when all that mattered was racing to the monkey bars on the playground and hoping I could find someone to eat my peas at lunch so I did not have attempt to stuff them in my milk carton and then get caught. 🙁 Why bring up my childhood in a smoothie bowl post you ask…?? I used to love whipping up some smoothies back in the day, but I am pretty sure they consisted of milk, yogurt, and strawberries. Yep, and I was even excited about them, but in my defense I was probably ten years old. Smoothies have become so much more. You best be hopping on the smoothie bowl wagon and see where it takes you!
These raspberry peach power smoothie bowls are unbelievable! I have been making these smoothie bowls about every other night and each time my two boys have licked their bowls clean with an intense brawl/fight/knockdown to get the last of the smoothie in the blender (secret: my husband included). I hope he is not reading this..
These raspberry peach smoothie bowls are so heavenly.[icon type=”cloud”] They make you feel like you should be lying in the sun soakin up some rays…or at least on the couch watching Netflix. They are a great pick-me-up after a hard workout because they are packed with nutrition. I added Jif chocolate peanut powder for a protein boost without all of the additional fat content in peanut butter. You can also leave out the peanut powder if you would like and still have a delicious smoothie bowl.
There are so many times throughout the day that I now think to myself hmm..a smoothie bowl would taste good right now. Maybe I should go for a run so I can have another smoothie bowl! Haha! What is even more fun about smoothie bowls is that you can customize the toppings yourself to add flavor and texture along with MORE GOOD STUFF FOR YOU! 🙂 C’mon you didn’t think I was going to leave that out did you?! Top yours with granola, chia seeds, fresh fruit or your liking. Chia seeds are a great source of fiber having eight grams per two tablespoons and 3 grams of omega-3 fatty acids. Now that is something to smile about! Just look at this yummy goodness!!
So are you ready for your smoothie bowl?! I am ready for mine!!
