The best tuna salad served warm on a toasted everything bagel for those evenings you literally want dinner in 10 minutes. I hear you!
Grab yo self a grown up toasted tuna everything bagel and savor it!
This grown up sandwich is everything a tuna sandwich should be. The flavor is 100% on point! It seems nuts how incredibly simple they are to make but hey, don’t we deserve that kind of break. A freakishly fast and delicious meal that doesn’t require a call to Jimmy Johns. Maybe tuna salad is more of a lunch kind of meal but when you place it on an everything bagel and toast it in the oven for 8 minutes, I am all about eating this for supper!
Tuna salad makes me think back to elementary school and those tuna salad sandwiches we got served far too often! I always hoped they didn’t run out of the PBJs by the time I got to the lunch line. Tuna was not my thing when I was little, not one bit. I wasn’t a super picky kid but I do remember a few times I resorted to stuffing peas in my milk carton praying I wouldn’t get caught. I still get the shivers just thinking about those warmed up canned peas.
However, these days tuna is welcome at my house…when done right! And if you are going to make tuna salad it better not be bland nor without some crunch or texture to it. What totally surprised me was my husband’s reaction to these bagel sandwiches. He is not much of a tuna fan..then again there has been a lot of things he has claimed to not like and it seems he is a fan of more things than he realized!! Let’s start with tuna and fish in general, mustard, and salads to name a few.
