Hey hey hey! I mean HO HO HO! Christmas is coming!! That means it’s time for a December Bucket List to get the ball rolling.
I just always get soo so excited this time of year! The Christmas lights, the fancy trees, talking about the birth of Jesus with our kids, the cozy lattés, fuzzy slippers…I could seriously go on and on but I will save you from that. It all makes up for the bitter cold winters here in central Nebraska.
It’s a good thing I like/ I can deal with change because that is all the weather is about around here. We are talking 25 degree snowy weather one day to dry streets and 56 degree weather the next. Honest. And that is followed by sleet and ice storm the next. It can give you whiplash at times but we deal, somehow. You don’t see many Ford Focuses around here that’s for sure, mostly trucks and the biggest SUV you can find. Ha!
Alright let’s get down to business on this first day of DECEMBER!! Woohoo!

Did you read through that and have a few concerns?? Like for example, the run? Okay, okay before you get too confused let me explain. So do you find sometimes that when you challenge yourself and accomplish it, you feel so much better about your day?! Well, I put the run in there because even though that may not sound like a party, getting your behind up and off the couch and all bundled up to go for a run in the cold weather is totally worth the feeling of accomplishment when you are done. Don’t ya think? Stay with me here guys.
The other day you might be a little shocked at is buying a Starbucks Christmas latté. Ya? That one is on there because now that I’m home all day with the kids, I don’t ever stop at whatever coffee shop on the way to work and get my usual vanilla latté. Soooo, that means this month on the 29th I am going to stop and get a fancy coffee drink of choice and enjoooooyy!
