Welcome to 3 Scoops of Sugar! I am Megan, and this is my food blog. I take everyday recipes and modify them to increase flavor and nutrition. I hope you enjoy reading along the way. Thanks for stopping by! So, the time has come to brush off all of the spider webs from your grills and smokers! Ladies and gents, summer has arrived! On this memorial day, I would like to pause and thank all of the men and women that have served this country and sacrificed so that we may live in the country we live in today. You are all my heroes.
Now, you may be thinking why turkey burgers on memorial day? The turkey burger has always been quite inferior to the good ‘ol classic American hamburger. However, this burger sure puts up a good fight! It is juicy, spicy, and the jalapeno mayo is just amazing! Side note: When I eat hamburgers, ketchup is a must, but with these turkey burgers this jalapeno mayo is the perfect accompaniment!!
This turkey burger deserves a spot right next to the hamburger. He has fought the good fight and earned that spot! 😉 This burger is hands down, an AMAZING TURKEY BURGER! I am kind of a wuss in the spicy department so I believe I drank 3 glasses of water during this meal, but my husband loves spicy food and he said this was the best turkey burger he had ever had! I do enjoy winning him over on the meals I cook! So, if you are looking for a new recipe or to change things up a bit, I suggest you try these awesome spicy turkey burgers and do not forget the jalapeno mayo! They go hand in hand!
So, if you are in need of a change up to your weekly menu, I suggest you try these spicy turkey burgers! They are just what you have been looking for!!
