Ground beef patties topped with guacamole and a dollop of pico de gallo and we’re ditching the bun to enjoy the tastiest part of the burger.
If it’s going to be beef for dinner, then it should definitely be these naked guacamole burgers with pico de gallo! A lot of times I go for the bun when having hamburgers but sometimes the bun drowns out the taste of the burgers. With these burgers, no bun is necessary. They are so delicious without the bun.
Adding guacamole on my burger the other day was the best decision. It made an everyday meal go from great (because I love grilling hamburgers) to “I’m going to have to eat my burgers like this more often!”
I don’t know about you guys but I am loving the 70 degree recent weather situation. It has been very windy lately and I don’t even care that much because we are no longer dealing with the 20 degree weather. Summer will soon be here and we will be taking regular trips to the splash pad and park because that is what the kids love the best. I can not think of a better meal after a day out and about in the nice weather than burgers off the grill.
I have been making my guacamole the same way for years but the last time I was at the store I was unable to find jalapeños so I used the jarred sliced jalapeño slices. I was pretty skeptical but I actually loved the results. They are so convenient and don’t go bad as quickly as fresh jalapeños so a great guacamole or pico de gallo are always just minutes away!!
