So glad you are here today friends!! My life calls for my favorite slow cooker chuck roast today! In the midst of selling a house, buying a house, managing everything in between…it is time for a slow cooker meal today. And that is that!
I LOVE THIS SLOW COOKER CHUCK ROAST! Why? Because it always turns out delicious. Roast that falls apart on your fork is the way to eat chuck roast. Just sooo good! Are you drooling right now? Don’t worry, I won’t tell. 😉
I hope you don’t mind the slow cooker liner. It may not make for the best photograph but we are talking real life right now, and today my life calls for slow cooker chuck roast with a slow cooker liner. It just makes sense. If there is a shortcut I can take to spend less time cleaning up and more time with my kiddos and husband, then you betcha I’m gonna take it!
This chuck roast is a meal the whole family enjoys, which is a bit rare for having a 2, 3, and 4 year old. Well, except for the 2-year old. We are still working on our meats! She is not so sure about most of them yet! Okay, back to the chuck roast! This meat is so tender and it has flavors of garlic, onion, and pure deliciousness. I like this chuck roast. That is for sure and for certain!
I have been making this roast recipe for a few years now and my husband absolutely loves it. This recipe is pretty meaningful to me. Can that be a thing?? Meaningful food? What? I am meaning to eat it and I am meaning for my family to eat it with me. It goes beyond that though. We have come and gone from two houses now, and this chuck roast recipe has continued to be a favorite among the both of us. We have done a bunch of work to our current house and I will definitely be sad to leave it, but looking at these pictures of chuck roast reminds me that a house does not define a home. It is your family and the memories you make in it. [icon type=”heart”]
And so, that is what I look forward to in our future home…more memories and more of my favorite slow cooker chuck roast!!

- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1-10 3/4 ounce can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1-14.5 ounce can beef broth
Instructions
- Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder to a small bowl and combine. Set aside.
- Place chuck roast on baking sheet. Sprinkle seasoning on all sides of roast and rub in thoroughly and evenly. Transfer chuck roast to slow cooker.
- Chop garlic and slice onion and arrange on top of chuck roast. In medium bowl, combine mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth. Pour over chuck roast. It is ok if onion and garlic fall off chuck roast. Flavors will still combine while cooking.
- Cook on low for 8-10 hours. Then remove from slow cooker and serve.
