My favorite way to make salmon is by searing it first and then baking it! There’s no need to go out to dinner to enjoy delicious seafood.
Seafood at home?? Yes please!!
Unless I am headed to a really nice restaurant, I have a hard time ordering salmon because I am a little picky on how it is cooked. Who isn’t, right?
To be honest I would rather eat it slightly undercooked than overcooked because I just can’t bear to eat dry salmon. I also believe it doesn’t take much to season salmon because the flavor of it is already outstanding.
This time of year, I definitely recommend serving it with some great tasting brussels sprouts like these ones. Salmon and brussels sprouts is such a fantastic meal and salmon is really filling.
So if you are looking for a nice date night meal, this is it! You can always add in some bruschetta but we actually just did the salmon and brussels sprouts and thought it was filling enough.
Oh, and I never can get over how quick salmon is to prepare when it tastes so delicious. 15 Minutes!!! That’s it! Glorious, huh! I thought so.
