It’s summer and that means you need to take full advantage of all of the fresh dark, sweet cherries available right now. Yes, they are super delicious as is but if you want to take them to next level kind of good then you need to get your hands on this Cherry Dessert Bread!!
Homemade bread of any sort is always amazing but my family and I have become somewhat obsessed with this cherry bread lately. And by obsessed I mean when the loaves are gone, my husband starts asking when I’m going to be making more. It’s truly amazing!
I’m calling this cherry dessert bread as a hint that it’s not meant to be eaten at every meal or in place of every meal like my husband thinks it should be! Haha!
However, if you have new neighbors moving in nearby or family that you want to bake something for then this cherry bread will be just the thing to say welcome to the neighborhood or I love you mom and dad!
Here is a list of some of my favorite brunch must-haves:
- This cherry dessert bread, duh! 🙂
- Strawberry rhubarb muffins. I can’t go even a couple weeks without making something with rhubarb in it and these muffins are the perfect thing!
- Zucchini fritters. I am actually more of a savory brunch eater myself so these fritters are very much up my alley! If you have never made fritters before you will be pleasantly surprised at how easy they are to make!
- Blackberry + Cream Cheese Toast. I love when blackberry season comes around and this is a quick and easy go to breakfast on any day of the week!
