Easy roasted asparagus done in less than 20 minutes! It’s so delicious that you will wonder why you don’t make this more often!
Heyyy asparagus fans!
What’s your favorite way to do asparagus? Are you into fancy recipes where you peel off ribbon-like pieces of asparagus? Those are amazing, huh! I mean I have never created one of those recipes because most of the time I’m thinking about all of the things I want to do but am just trying to keep my head above water and get dinner on the table before it’s dark out which nowadays is like 9:15!
So what I am trying to say is that I am totally into simple, easy roasted asparagus recipes like this one that still taste incredible every single time I make it.
Lately, we have been sprinkling Traeger® seasonings onto pretty much everything. Some of our favorites include the Salmon Shake, Veggie Shake, and Blackened Saskatchewan seasonings. For this roasted asparagus, we seasoned it with the Veggie Shake seasoning, sprinkled it with parmesan cheese, and added some lemon juice and roasted it for 12-15 minutes since the asparagus we add were a bit on the thicker side.
My husband absolutely loves when I make roasted asparagus. I claim it’s not one of my top favorites as far as veggies go, but then I make it and try it and I’m like what the heck is wrong with me because this stuff is delicious!!
I guess you could say I always think there is something better than asparagus to pair with my fish or meat or whatever but the truth is this asparagus deserves a spot right next to my fish every so often because it’s just that good.
Easy Roasted Asparagus
Ingredients
- 1 bunch asparagus
- Traeger® Veggie Shake seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- lemon juice
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425℉. Wash asparagus stalks and pat dry with paper towels. Remove tough ends of stalks by bending the thick end of the stalks until they snap and discard.
- Arrange stalks on a rimmed baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil over stalks and mix until they are evenly coated with oil. Arrange in a single layer. Sprinkle Veggie Shake seasoning over stalks. Sprinkle parmesan cheese over asparagus evenly down the center of the stalks.
- Roast asparagus for 9-11 minutes for thinner stalks and 12-15 minutes for thicker stalks.
