Hey guys and gals! So I am already smiling as I write this post about my new favorite white whole grain waffles. I am smiling because they will remind me of the awesome 4th of July weekend me and my family had. It was filled with family packed fun, fireworks, and food of course!! And to top it off my 4 year-old came and gave me a big hug after I made these waffles. He said these were the best waffles he had ever eaten and kept repeating thank you mommy for making me waffles..melts my heart!ย [icon type=”heart”] So, check out these best whole grain waffles with raspberries!
[half]I am pretty sure I will be eating more dark chocolate infused raspberries. They were simply amazing! I could not even believe I was eating whole wheat waffles by the taste of these! They were a thousand times better than any other waffles out of the box. Goodbye boxed waffles! Goodbye!! And hello my new favorite whole grain waffles, I think we are going to be good friends! [/half]
I think, waitย no, I absolutely know for sure these waffles will get you outta bed even at the crack of dawn! Add some raspberries and a touch of dark chocolate, and what do you have? Let me answer that for you..I’m a little pushy sorry. Anyway, you have just created a meal you will want to make for brunch on the 4th of July! You will probably try to find a reason to have a brunch partay so you can make these little pieces of whole grain heaven.
You will probably find yourself eating chocolate infused raspberries more too because they are DEELISH!
Whenever I make homemade waffles, I look forward to having some left over because I stick them in a freezer bag and freeze them. When you are ready for some more waffles, like in an hour or two, take them out of the freezer and pop them in the toaster and boom, more waffles in 2 minutes! Yes! I love leftover waffles.
This recipe is fool-proof so take notes from below and get to it! Your family will be asking for more! My kids ate these waffles every morning for the past 4 days and they were still excited to eat them this morning.
