Everyday kind of delicious and yet easy chicken tenders crusted with Fritos! A meal the whole family will love!
You’re going to want chicken tonight. To be more specific, you’re going to want this frito-crusted chicken! The flavor is outta this world and when combined with buffalo ranch sauce you won’t be able to keep your hands off of it.
It’s a fun weekend recipe but also an easy weeknight recipe. Either way you will be rejoicing about it. That is if you can fight off your family from eating all the Fritos before you get a chance to make this. That was my biggest concern.
I’m always trying to find new ways to make chicken so the fam doesn’t get tired of the same old thing. This recipe certainly takes away all feelings of boredom. And who doesn’t like Fritos??!

Best Ever Frito-Crusted Chicken + Buffalo Ranch Sauce
Ingredients
Chicken Tenders
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1/8 tsp kosher salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp poultry seasoning
- 2 eggs beaten
- 2 cups frito chips crushed
Buffalo Ranch Sauce
- 1 cup Ranch dressing
- 1/4 cup buffalo sauce
Instructions
Chicken Tenders
- Preheat oven to 425℉. Place cooling rack inside a rimmed baking sheet and spray with non-stick spray or olive oil spray and set aside.
- Make an assembly line. In a shallow dish, add the flour and poultry seasoning and mix together well. In a 2nd shallow dish, add the beaten eggs. In a 3rd shallow dish, add the crushed fritos.
- Start by sprinkling the salt and pepper over the chicken tenders. Coat a chicken tender in the flour mixture and shake off excess. Dip in the egg mixture on all sides and then coat the chicken with the crushed chips. Add to baking sheet and repeat for remaining chicken tenders.
- Bake chicken tenders for 20 minutes.
Buffalo Ranch Sauce
- Meanwhile mix the ranch dressing and buffalo sauce together and store in fridge until ready to use
