2017…yes, I am excited to meet you!!

Hey friends! How are you? Do you have all of your Christmas shopping done? Decorations up? I sure as heck do not. Well, since you are here you should probably kick back and make yourself a nice little bowl of shrimp bisque. It’s perfect for this crazy cold weather! Blog posts have been rare these days and it makes me sad. My current status is my hubs, kids, and I are staying in a hotel as we transition ourselves to a new chapter in this thing called life. Life in a hotel means few dishes, no stove, and little workspace to prepare food. Having three little ones in such a small space creates an even bigger challenge. We go for the quick and easy around here right now. This is the 7th week we have been here and just two more to go! Phew! I couldn’t take much more, although I am getting used to someone cleaning up after me. 😉 Ha!

Why are we in a hotel you ask? We are moving to Kansas!! We found a house!! And I am sooo excited for my new kitchen! I am going to go nuts in there. Pictures to come in the future!

In the meantime, we are enjoying the extra family bonding and closeness this hotel suite has provided us. We are doing a lot of family movies, reading to the kids, evening drives, and of course a few runs up and down the hallway to let the kids expend some energy. It is not easy keeping 3 little kiddos cooped up in one hotel room.

We are so excited to get into our new house! I am really going to miss everyone here in Nebraska but I look forward to our new endeavors in Kansas! I know our kids are missing their toys too so we are REALLY LOOKING FORWARD to our new house! 😉
